Filmmaker Camp

Filmmaker Camp for ages 12–18 offers opportunities for students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, to explore the art of filmmaking. Participants collaborate with peers while learning how to use cameras, lighting, and other filmmaking gear to produce their own short films. The program also provides a pathway into the Teen Film Lab and internship opportunities, helping students take their skills to the next level.

Digital Shorts Camp (Ages 12–17) – Now in its 11th year, this beginner-friendly camp introduces students to storytelling, directing, cinematography, and editing as they create their first short films using Canon C100 cameras and Adobe Premiere Pro & Audition. Perfect for newcomers and Creator Camp alumni ready to level up.

Director’s Cut: Narrative Filmmaking (Ages 12–17) – Focused on directing, scriptwriting, acting, and narrative storytelling, students collaborate on short films while developing professional production skills. No experience required.

Master Shot: Cinematic Filmmaking (Ages 14–18) – Our advanced, fast-paced camp for serious filmmakers. Students create a short film “proof of concept”, mastering cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing with professional cameras, lenses, and gear.
