Digital Shorts (ages 12-17)

Over the years, Digital Short weeks have been our most popular camp! Aspiring filmmakers and content creators spend the week producing short films, vlogs, music videos, and other "Digital Shorts". This open ended program allows young filmmakers to “think outside the box” to create short films designed to be shared on social media, YouTube and TikTok. Projects range from sketch comedy, mockumentary, the avant-garde and beyond. Perfect for Beginners and students interested in Production Design, Editing, Cinematography and collaboration.

NARRATIVE FILMMAKING (Ages 12-17)

Filmmaking Fundamentals, Learn the craft ! Perfect for young writers and directors. Narrative short film production is all about writing for the screen and learning how to tell a compelling story through minimal dialog and direction. This week we focus on cinematic storytelling. Our Narrative film camp centers around a screenplay (script) and the actors’ performance. Advanced camera and lighting techniques are featured in these sessions. This challenging course is a lot of fun! Now enrolling for the next Ava DuVernay, Berry Jenkins, or Stanley Kubrick.

Cinematic Filmmaking (Ages 12-17)

Our Advanced camps are challenging and rewarding opportunities for aspiring filmmakers to work on projects that can be submitted for scholarships, grant opportunities, film festivals, education applications and digital portfolios as proof of work. Students gain front line production experience and on set protocol training, in a safe and supportive learning environment. Advanced Camp alumni are invited to join our Teen Filmmaker Lab in 2025 at no cost and are also eligible for future internships and production work.
