Class Experience 🚀 Embark on a thrilling adventure with NW Film Camp's week-long day camps this summer! Dive into content creation and digital storytelling, where students create short videos, stop-motion films, and character animations that they can be genuinely proud of. Our Creator Camp is focused on collaboration and storytelling. Students will have a blast planning and crafting creative content with a positive message while making new friends this summer. Camp Passes Available Now - Open Enrollment Starts January 2025

Students Ignite their creativity and conquer the digital world with confidence as they master the art of video production by telling awesome stories!
Our curriculum prioritizes digital literacy and online safety​. Privacy-first: videos won't be published online during camp, videos will be shared directly with parents, and the decision to publish post-camp is yours to make.

What Creators will learn

  • Creativity and Ideation: Cultivate imaginative thinking and brainstorming skills to generate innovative ideas for various creative projects.

  • Content Creation: Learn the basics of creating different types of content, from visual media to written pieces, fostering a well-rounded skill set.

  • Digital Storytelling: Explore the art of storytelling in the digital age, understanding how to convey narratives effectively through various digital mediums.

  • Photography and Visual Composition: Develop skills in capturing and composing visually appealing images, whether for social media, blogs, or other digital platforms.

  • Graphic Design: Acquire fundamental graphic design skills, enabling students to craft eye-catching visuals for their creative projects.

  • Basic Video Production: Gain introductory knowledge of video creation, including shooting, editing, and adding basic effects to produce engaging visual content.

  • Presentation Skills: Hone the ability to articulate ideas confidently, both verbally and visually, in order to effectively communicate creative concepts.

  • Time Management: Develop organizational skills and learn to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete projects successfully.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Understand the importance of teamwork and effective communication in a creative environment, fostering a collaborative and supportive community.

Sample Class Format

  • 8:30 - Drop off / Check in

  • 9:00 - Instruction / Pre-production

  • 10:30 - Onset Film Production

  • 12:00 - Lunch Break - Bring a lunch!

  • 12:30 - Team Building Outside

  • 12:45 - Continue Filming

  • 1:30 - Post-production work

  • 2:30 - Pick up - No later than 3:00pm
