NW Film Camp – Online Animation Workshops for Kids & Teens (Ages 10–16)

Bring stories to life through the art of animation! At NW Film Camp, students ages 10–16 learn how to create animated short films using Adobe Character Animator—the same cutting-edge software used by professionals in the industry.

Learn from Professional Instructors

Our live, dedicated instructors are passionate about both filmmaking and teaching. Every student receives personalized guidance in a supportive, creative online classroom.

Hands-On Animation Skills

Using industry-standard technologies like facial and physical recognition, students animate characters in real time—just by speaking, moving, and acting in front of their webcam. This makes the process fun, interactive, and accessible for beginners.

  • No prior experience required!

  • Students can choose to design and build their own characters, or use pre-designed templates to jump right into animating.

  • Every project is rooted in storytelling, helping students understand not just how to animate, but how to craft compelling, meaningful stories.

Preparing for a Booming Industry

Animation is everywhere—from movies and streaming shows to YouTube and social media content—and the demand for skilled creators is growing faster than ever. By learning Adobe Character Animator and storytelling fundamentals, our students are building real-world skills for future creative careers.

Kid-Friendly Inspiration

Adobe Character Animator has already been used in popular, kid-friendly productions such as:

  • “Toon Time” with Sesame Street segments

  • “The Simpsons” live animated specials

  • YouTube Kids’ animated shorts created with Adobe tools

These examples show how the same technology your child will be learning is already shaping the shows they know and love.
